For someone who did not grow up in New Zealand, I along with the rest of the world have probably heard the occasional mention of how scenic this country is, but really, it was the filming of the Lord of The Rings that propelled many of us to bookmark this place as a must-travel destination.

The Hobbiton Movie Set in North Island is one of the most iconic landmarks for the filming of the famous trilogy, and as an avid fan myself, I absolutely had a ball of a time visiting this place!

You cannot deny that any mention of visiting Melbourne is synonymous with coffee and café culture. As much as there are many established restaurants and an array of different cuisines available in this city, there is no way anyone can leave without at least paying homage to a café (or two) for some iconic brunch and a cuppa.

Six Months Ago, I Wrote A Letter To Myself.

At the busiest and possibly most frazzled time of my life, I spared a moment to write a few paragraphs for the displeasure of my future self to read, thinking that perhaps in a less overwhelmed state of mind, I am able to look back and fully appreciate the course of events that took up all of my time this year.

Half a year later, today, when I have finally reached a stage where life seems to be slowing down again, I found the luxury of time to revisit this draft and this is what I told myself:
